North World
Like our world but with swords and monsters. The current story is The Epic of Conrad about Conrad Lionel, a badass monster hunter whose next job is to fight a demon in his hometown around the same time as his ex-girlfriend's wedding.
The first volume of North World is set to be printed by Oni Press in March 2008.
Also on this site is "Shark vs Ninja", "Cloud Story" and "Feast of Grass", short comics that take place in the North World. "Let This Day Have Vikings" is a 7 page comic that appears in Lava Punch 2 from Brown Bag Press.

Lars Brown
I was born in 1983 in Southern California, but I mostly grew up in the Inland Northwest. In High School a friend got me hooked on Jeff Smith's Bone at the same time that I was devouring Tolkien, Lewis, and Brian Jacques novels along with classic Sci-fi from Heinlein, Simak, and Bradbury. Even now a story doesn't seem like a story without some fantasy or sci-fi genre trappings mixed into it. I've self-published short novels and comics, none of which were very good. In 2006 I obtained a degree to teach history after studying abroad in Japan for four months, but currently I work as a game moderator for Cyan Worlds.
